Report Cards and Conferences

Each year teachers send home two progress reports (report cards). Report cards include checklists in core academic areas, evaluations from specialist classes such as art, music, and physical education, and brief summaries of academic and social/emotional growth for each student. In addition, parent conferences are held twice a year. Teachers schedule conferences in the Fall and in the Spring following district reporting guidelines. Conferences at Graham & Parks are approximately 30 minutes long. Teachers typically share student work as evidence of learning and discuss social emotional as well as academic growth. In older grades, conferences may include student participation.
