Grade
4 spent the first eight weeks of the school year on their "Changing
Charles" learning expedition. Students studied the Charles River and the
ways it has changed over time. They learned about the beauty of the
local river and the many opportunities it offers to the Cambridge
community. Students also discovered the problems facing the Charles and
explored ways that people can improve the river’s water quality. Grade 4
ended their learning expedition by creating a calendar which will be
printed and sold to benefit local organizations that are working to
improve the Charles. Look for appeal letters from 4th graders and
calendar order forms in your child's backpack during the month of
December.
