Posted on 03/15/2016
Six Cambridge students performed with the All-State Treble Chorus on March 12: Avery Carangelo, Korbinian Parnell, and Emi Rodes from Tobin and Jamey De Sola, Gita Drummond, and Oliver Leek from Graham and Parks. This the third year MMEA (Mass. Music Educators Association) has offered an All-State chorus to students in Grades 4-6. Teachers John-Martha Reynolds and Debbie Sullivan submitted student’s audition tapes in early December. They received notification in January about which students were selected. The singers put in many hours of rehearsal with their teacher and at home to learn the challenging repertoire. The final rehearsal and performance with students from all over the state took place at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The group was led by the highly regarded conductor Dr. Rollo Dilworth from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Congratulations to these students for representing Cambridge at this important event!
