Meet Officer Brooks, the School Resource Officer at Graham & Parks!
What do you do at G&P? I’m the School Police Resource Officer (SRO). School Resource Officers are placed at each Cambridge Public School to be a visible, active law enforcement figure as well as a resource for students, families, teachers and the school administration. Each School Resource Officer is a member of the Cambridge Safety Net Collaborative focused on prevention, intervention, and diversion strategies aimed at helping Cambridge youth. I also visit classrooms to do presentations on law related education, violence diffusion, safety programs, alcohol and drug prevention, crime prevention and other areas.
How long have you been at G&P? I was assigned there last year.
Where are you from? I was born in Kingston, Jamaica; I currently live in Stoughton.

What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt? Race car driver
How did you know you wanted to be a Police Officer? My love of helping others and doing what’s right.
