What an All-School Art Show!

What an All-School Art Show!

art showFrom May 20th through May 27th, our school was sparkling with the wonderful artistic projects of each and every student, from self-portraits with poetry to sculptures made out of straws and popsicle sticks. The range of creativity put smiles on everyone’s faces and showed how vibrant the imaginations are in our kids.

Huge thanks to our Art Teacher Liana Kingsley, who not only spearheaded the show and put together majestic displays but also made sure that every child was represented—even if they had arrived at G&P last week. Thanks also to Liana's husband, Aaron, for his help with moving and mounting the art, reminding Liana to go eat, and pitching in with every other aspect of the show! Nora Grodzins and Iis Drummond beautifully managed the marketing, the volunteers, and the opening reception, complete with art activities for the kids in the playground. Caroline Cook de Sola designed the brochure and acted as official photographer for the show. And to the rest of our volunteers Emily, Liza, Muna, Ena, Alyssa, Patricia, Suzannah, Sarah, Xiujun, Aniko, Anna, Nadia, Mary-Ann, and Trevor thank you for all you did to make such a successful event. Finally, thank you to all our artists for so proudly sharing their beautiful works with us.
