Elections for the five parent representatives on the G&P Steering Committee will be held May 20—28.

Here is how we need every G&P family to participate:

  • Meet the Candidates Coffee: 
Friday, May 15 | 8:30 AM
    Join us in the lobby to meet the candidates who are running for Steering Committee. They will be representing you next year so make sure they know what your concerns are for your child and your school.
  • VOTE!
Election ballots will go out May 18 or 19 via backpack express. Please look for your ballot in your child’s orange folder. Each parent/caregiver is allowed one vote so we will only send one ballot packet home. The ballot packet contains the candidates’ statements, a set of two voting ballots—one for each parent, and a return envelope. The return envelope is labeled with your family name. It is very important that your ballot is submitted in an envelope with your family name on it. If your family name does not appear on the envelope we must discount your ballot. Your family name will be used only to check that no family returns more than two ballots. The ballots will then be separated from the envelopes to ensure that your vote remains anonymous. The ballot box will be in the G&P front lobby from Wednesday, May 20 until Thursday, May 28.
