Good in the Garden??
It’s finally June, and with that comes flowers, fruits, vegetables, tubers… Our City Sprouts coordinator works with children during the school day in the courtyard garden, helping to familiarize our children with many aspects of gardening. But Graham & Parks has a number of active garden beds that need some additional care beyond what City Sprouts can provide. So if you enjoy gardening, we’d love to have you come help out. The gardens are accessible both during the school day and outside of school hours, making this an ideal opportunity for volunteering at G&P even if you aren’t available during school hours. Contact Kris Dickson ([email protected]) if you’d like to learn more about opportunities to volunteer in the G&P gardens.

Family Cultural Exchange Program

Parents, please join Family Cultural Exchange Program( FCEP) for our "Second Friday Coffee," on Friday, June 9th. We meet every month at Bourbon Coffee - 1815 Mass Ave. If you would like to walk with the group, you can find us in the school lobby at 8:30, or you can meet us at Bourbon Coffee at 8:45. Come and meet other G&P parents from Cambridge and around the world. All are welcome.

Thank You!

Thank you to the families who participated in the 5th Grade Parents' Night Out fundraiser in which we were able to raise a little over $600.The night was filled with laughing kids on riding toys, cheering buddies running through the obstacle course together, encouraging voices at the lego and board game tables and quiet moments of concentration while crafting Mother's Day cards. A few volunteering parents couldn't believe that our tweens were once that young and small, running around G&P. We hope that we helped create wonderful memories for your little ones as they've added a few to ours. Thank you for supporting our 5th graders and hopefully we can make it happen again next year.
